Blue Water Baltimore has a community-based approach to green stormwater projects like rain gardens, cisterns, tree plantings and hardscape removal. This means we work directly with congregations, schools, community groups and other institutions to plan and construct conservation projects to improve waterways and neighborhood health.
In doing this work, we’ve encountered a number of bureaucratic challenges that make neighborhood greening harder to do.
