Are you ready to act against invasive plants?
The Weed Warrior 101 Online Training is the first step in becoming a certified Level 1 Weed Warrior. This two-hour presentation will introduce you to the basics of invasive plant ecology, why care, and how to identify and manage the “Big Six” invasive vines in Prince George’s County, Maryland.
To become certified, Weed Warrior trainees have to take this online course, participate in two in-person events with authorized supervisors, and then take a final certification class. Once certified, Weed Warriors will be able to work independently on M-NCPPC parklands within Prince George’s County.
