Never in recent history have we been more concerned about our health. The connections between environmental health and our own personal health are often over-looked, misunderstood or downplayed. Dr. Maany will discuss how wise land use and habitat conservation benefits our medical health. Specifically, she will address various infectious diseases such as Lyme disease, West Nile virus, Covid-19, and more. She will also draw connections between environmental health and our mental well-being.
