Keynote: Devon Payne-Sturges, DrPH, “Learning from the Struggles of Science Policy Policy to Protect Public Health”.  Dr. Payne-Sturges, formerly with EPA, is Assistant Professor of Applied Environmental Health at the UMD School of Public Health.

Robert Musil, PhD, MPH, “Pesticides & Climate Change” Dr. Musil is President & CEO of the Rachel Carson Council and was the longest-serving executive director of Physicians for Social Responsibility.

Doug Myers, “Impact of Pesticides on the Bay watershed”.  Mr. Myers is Maryland Senior Scientist for the Chesapeake Bay Foundation.

Josephine Johnson, PhD, “Impacts of Pesticides on Pollinators”.  Dr. Johnson is a honeybee research scientist and environmental science at Stevenson University.

Greg Allen, PhD, Environmental Scientist for EPA’s Chesapeake Bay Program will be our moderator for the day and will update us on the Chesapeake Bay Program.
