  • Linda Birnbaum, PhD, Director of the National Institute for Environmental Health Sciences and the National Toxicology Program. She is the keynote speaker and will discuss research trends re endocrine disruptors and human health.
  • Kelly Smalling, Environmental Organic Chemist, US Geological Survey and Coordinator of the Endocrine Disrupting Compounds Effects on Fish & Wildlife in the Bay Watershed. Program, will discuss the impact of endocrine disruptors on fish and wildlife in the Bay.
  • Hartmut Doebel, PhD, insect ecologist, Assistant Professor of Biology at George Washington University, and head of its Research & Beekeeping Team, will discuss endocrine disruptor impacts on pollinators and the emerging science on the “insect apocalypse.”
  • Kendra Klein, PhD, Senior Staff Scientist at Friends of the Earth, will discuss the pesticide chlorpyrifos, safer alternatives and regenerative agriculture in the healthy food movement.
