Join Alliance for the Chesapeake Bay and RiverSmart Homes for a permeable pavement installer course for all local landscape contractors in the DC Metro Area. The training will be held on Tuesday, March 12th, 2019 from 8 a.m. – 5:30 p.m. at 1200 First Street, Washington, DC. (Department of Energy & Environment).
The course is aimed at contractors who are presently doing residential and/or commercial concrete pavement installations and wish to move into the permeable pavement market. It is recommended (but not required) that participants have completed the ICPI Concrete Paver Installer Course prior to attending this course. You may send more than one representative from your company. The training will consist of a classroom session and a certification exam. The classroom session will be taught by a representative from the Interlocking Concrete Pavement Institute and is intended to train experienced contractors about the differences of installing PICP vs. regular interlocking concrete pavement systems. Preference will be given during registration for contractors interested in partnering with the RiverSmart Homes Program. Additional information will include an introduction to the RiverSmart Homes programs and administrative requirements needed to become a RiverSmart Homes contractor.
