Join the Alliance for the Chesapeake Bay for a garden clean up and refresh for the native plant garden at John B. Cary Elementary School. Cary is located at 3021 Maplewood Avenue, Richmond, VA 23221. Participants should come prepared to plant native plants, weed, prune, water, and spread wood chips.
This event will be held outdoors with plenty of space to spread out. Parking is available on side streets in the front and sides of the school or there is a small parking lot in the back. Supplies and tools will be provided. Wear closed toe shoes and clothes you don’t mind getting dirty. Bring a water bottle.
