Help Maryland-National Capital Park and Planning Commission (M-NCPPC) save trees! We’re looking for volunteers to assist with invasive plant removal in our parks. This time, we will be heading to Birchleaf Park in Seat Pleasant, Maryland to tackle English ivy climbing up trees and some invasive shrubs bordering a beech-dominated forest.
Anyone aged 16 or older is welcome to drop-in for Weed Warrior events. All training and tools will be provided for the activity, and details such as where to meet will be sent to participants the week of the event.
