Join us for the annual Willis Run Cleanup! Willis Run is a tributary of the Codorus Creek that flows through York City and creates Kiwanis Lake. Unfortunately, this waterway acts as a major pathway for trash, making annual cleanups essential. We will work together to restore this vital stream and make a positive impact on our watershed. This is a partnered event bringing multiple organizations together in the fight for clean water. Thank you for volunteering!
We will provide the following: hip waders (limited supply and sizes), pickers, trash bags, first aid, hand sanitizer, gloves, water for refills, and pizza.
We recommend you bring: a full water bottle, waders (if you have them), weather/activity appropriate clothing, and a friend!
