Volunteer Activities include:
General Clean Up: Collecting wood and twigs for biochar burning and help with moving a wood chip pile.
Forest Management: We will be removing invasive plants that threaten the health and biodiversity of our forests. This will clear the area for native plants that provide habitat for pollinators.
Gardening & Watering: We will be planting Packera Aura (Golden ragwort, an aggressive native groundcover, great for pollinators), and watering reforested areas with new tree plantings.
Free Native Seeds: Volunteers will receive packets of free native seeds at the end of the activities!
