Help Maryland-National Capital Park and Planning Commission (M-NCPPC) restore a forest! We’re looking for volunteers to assist with invasive plant removal in our parks. This time, we will be heading to Albion Woods Park in College Park, Maryland to tackle invasive shrubs like bush honeysuckle. At this site, we are combining volunteer power in the sensitive areas with contractor efforts in the heavily invaded spots.
Anyone aged 16 or older is welcome to drop-in for Weed Warrior events. All training and tools will be provided for the activity, and details such as where to meet will be sent to participants the week of the event.
