Are you a community member in urban Baltimore County looking to create or protect green space? Join us on October 10 for a free bus tour to learn how you can work with NeighborSpace! Participants will visit four NeighborSpace sites and have the opportunity to speak with staff members and community partners. Lunch will be provided.
NeighborSpace is a nonprofit land trust working with communities across urban Baltimore County to protect, restore and steward green space for small parks, natural areas, gardens and trails. Whether you represent a community group looking to protect an existing neighborhood open space, are a community leader who has a certain property in mind that would make a good pocket park, or you are a resident interested in exploring the possibility of conservation, this tour will provide you with inspiration and the information needed to get started with NeighborSpace.
