NeighborSpace is a small nonprofit land trust working with communities across urban Baltimore County to protect, restore and steward green space for small parks, gardens, trails and natural areas. We protect parks for people, and are actively looking for new partners. If you live in urban Baltimore County, we would like to invite you and members of your community to attend a free bus tour on Saturday October 10, 9:30am-3:00pm. Participants will visit four NeighborSpace parks, meet with community stewardship partners, and enjoy a free lunch. There will be ample opportunity to ask questions and to walk around the different parks. Please feel free to share the attached flyer with your community association members and neighbors!
Whether you are a community group looking to protect an existing neighborhood open space, a community leader who has a certain property in mind that would make a good pocket park, or simply a resident interested in exploring the possibility of conservation in your neighborhood, we would love to have you join us! Please don’t hesitate to contact us if you have any questions.
