Did you know that a huge number of trees, shrubs, and flowers are just waiting to be planted?
That day is almost here! Join us as we plant native species that are both beautiful and beneficial. Some of the shrubs include Pasture rose, which produces beautiful pink flowers loved by bees and butterflies, Eastern wahoo, a native alternative to burning bush with leaves that turn a vibrant red in the fall, and Eastern leatherwood, which thrive in moist areas. Theses species will be planted as part of our ongoing stream restoration project with funding from the Maryland Department of Natural Resources.
All are welcome; children must be supervised. Please sign up using this form!
