Join CBF for a tree planting in Washington County where we will plant at least a thousand trees to create a forested buffer and increase biodiversity on historic farm land. Forested streamside buffers are an important part of managing water quality because they absorb and filter runoff before it reaches the water.
Attendees will learn about CBF’s farm stewardship program, regenerative agriculture, and the role trees play in mitigating climate change and improving water quality.
Gloves, shovels, water refills and a portable toilet will be provided. The site address will be provided to attendees upon registration.
