This event aims to engage Hampton Roads communities in hands‑on learning about sustainable landscape practices and to strengthen public understanding of native plants, resilient landscapes, and ecologically informed stewardship. By convening native nurseries, museums, environmental organizations, State organizations and City departments, the event will offer residents practical ways to support healthy ecosystems at home and in shared public spaces.
Through vendor exhibits, expert presentations, and educational demonstrations, the event will highlight the importance of native species, soil health, stormwater resilience, and long‑term urban forest sustainability.
