Come join Interfaith Partners for the Chesapeake for a special Winter Solstice Walk and reflection on December 17th @ 1:00pm at the Patuxent Wildlife Research Refuge (address below)!  Come enjoy a reflective nature walk, wildlife-excursion, and celebration of interfaith-solstice traditions!  We have so much to celebrate, and we hope you will join us.

Bundle up, and bring a thermos of your favorite hot drink!  Look for us under the solar panels @ the National Wildlife Visitor Center, 10901 Scarlet Tanager Loop, Laurel, MD 20708.

For us at IPC, the Winter Solstice represents a time to reflect on all that has been “light” throughout the year..  We reflect on the light and goodness which has graced us, and take the time to reflect and appreciate those brightest moments.

Together, let’s take the time to learn all about the different creatures and plants that respond to changing amounts of light and cooler temperatures, and hear how multiple faith traditions honor this near-universally recognized time!

Look for us under the solar panels. You’ll find a map HERE on our REGISTRATION page.

We hope you will join us as we look backwards to celebrate our bright future.

Please reach out directly if you have any questions or concerns (email Taylor@InterfaithChesapeake.org, or connect by phone; (443)510-4308).
