Following the phragmites harvest, families/teams will learn about the native seaside goldenrod plants using info boards. Teams will then be split up to plant goldenrod plugs to stabilize the harvest areas with pollinator-friendly native plants. Tools and gloves will be available to borrow, or BYO.

Wear boots, long pants and long sleeves for field days. Bring a water bottle and sun protection. Not recommended for children under 6 years of age. Light refreshments will be provided.
