Date: September 17, 2020
Time: 7:00 pm - 8:00 pm
What is a fossil? How do they form? How can you find your own? All these questions and more will be answered in this brief introduction to Maryland’s rich fossil record by avid fossil hunter Mason Hintermeister. Q and A Session will follow the presentation.
The suggested donation for this event is $5. NHSM understands that the pandemic has adversely impacted many. It shouldn’t impact access to education. Therefore, a free option is also available.
Please note that this is a 2-Step Registration Process. Once registered, a confirmation email will contain a link to register via Zoom. We apologize for the inconvenience, but this is an added layer of security.
Mason Hintermeister is an aspiring Paleontologist, Calvert Marine Museum Paleo Recovery Team member, and Natural History Society of Maryland fossil club member. Mason has found fossils across the east coast, but has a soft spot for his home state of Maryland. He loves all things science and communicating it to the public.
