Get Outside For River Rally 2020

Join Lower Shore Land Trust as we celebrate 30 years for our first-ever VIRTUAL 30 miles on the water and on the trails for River Rally 2020! Together we can raise funds to conserve and restore wildlife habitat, protect working lands and build a resilient Lower Shore today and for the next generation.

We have all had to change our plans and adjust how we work. The uncertainties of the pandemic have forced Lower Shore land Trust to adjust our work, but you can help keep a healthy environment a top priority. Register today to participate in River Rally 2020 and you’ll not only be supporting our land conservation work but you’ll be exploring some of the most pristine creeks and verdant trails on the Lower Shore.

Join as an individual or as a family and help us meet our goal to raise $10K to continue key conservation programs to benefit pollinators, coastal migratory birds and to maintain water quality. Registration is $30 per person or $45 for families. Whether you choose to kayak, paddleboard, canoe, hike or bike, or a combination of all of the above, you can help support the places we all love!

This event can be completed on a river, creek, bay, trail, or even biking the Viewtrail 100! Log your miles anytime between Friday, September 4, and Sunday, September 27, 2020. Do you walk the trails? Head out everyday and walk a mile to complete your goals! All ages, abilities, and fitness levels are encouraged to participate. Gather your friends, family, and co-workers and explore the shore! All registrants will receive a T-shirt and interactive map loaded with great places to paddle, hike and bike. Participants can use one of the many apps available to track their miles or enter their experiences in a downloadable form.

Conservation on the Lower Shore is key to the health of the Chesapeake Bay and Atlantic Coastal Bays and our work today will ensure a healthy environment and strong economy for residents and visitors alike.
