Online Maryland Boating Safety Course

DATE(S): Sat., September 5th from 9:00 AM – 1:00 PM; Sun., September 6th from 9:00 AM – 2:00 PM
Instructors from the U.S. Coast Guard Auxiliary will be holding this live online class (state-approved). This course satisfies the requirements for operating a vessel on Maryland waters, and a Certificate of Boating Safety Education is issued upon satisfactory completion. Two sessions will be taught, and attendance on both days is required. An online test will follow the class, to be taken at your convenience.

COST: Donation of $20.00 per student to support USCG Auxiliary educational programming. This course is FREE to all First Responders, Active Military, and all hospital workers and those in the medical field. We appreciate you!
The online format allows for live presentation, including show-and-tell content, relevant videos, and Q&As in a chat room setup. For those who are unfamiliar with taking online courses, or if you just need a refresher, we’ll set up a short practice session to make sure you won’t have any problems. The class can be taken on a desktop computer, a tablet, or a smartphone.
