The Havre de Grace Maritime Museum is working to restore some of Havre de Grace’s beautiful shoreline along the famous Promenade. We need volunteers to help clean us in our first phase of the project, cleanup. We need help cleaning up debris from the recent storm events, removing dead vegetation throughout the project area, and staging driftwood as slope stabilization within the project area. More information can be found on the flyer which is attached.
We be meeting both August 18th and 25th, promptly at 9:00AM at the Havre de Grace Maritime Museum, where we will walk to the shoreline project, and work until 12:00PM. Please wear sturdy work boots, and long pants. If you have access to work gloves, please bring them along, as we have a limited supply of spare gloves.
We hope to see you soon. Any questions please contact us at 410-939-4800 or at firstname.lastname@example.org
