Chesapeake Natives grows local ecotype native species (LENS) from native seed gathered in the wild in the Chesapeake Bay watershed. LENS have coevolved with insects in the Bay ecosystem and so bloom at the times best for local populations, maximizing their contribution to the food web.
Come out to Chesapeake Natives’ Nursery in beautiful Rosaryville State Park on Sunday March 26th from 10AM-2PM for our first Open House Sale of 2023! Our fabulous volunteers will be available at the sale to help you find the right native plants for your space.

P.S. Sales are planned for the last-Sunday-of-the-month at our Rosaryville State Park nursery through October 2023! Our online sales with weekly pick-up will resume the week after March 26 and continue through October.
