As we gear up for an exciting week filled with native plant sales and Earth Day festivities, we wanted to extend a warm invitation to join us at Chesapeake Natives Nursery in Rosaryville State Park on Sunday, April 28th, from 10 AM to 3 PM.

At Chesapeake Natives Nursery, we take pride in specializing in local ecotype native species (LENS) sourced from native seeds within the Chesapeake Bay watershed. These plants have evolved alongside local insects, ensuring they play a vital role in the Bay ecosystem by blooming at optimal times for local populations, thus maximizing their contribution to the food web.
During the sale, our dedicated volunteers will be available to assist you in selecting the perfect native plants for your landscape, providing expert advice and guidance.
For any inquiries or further information, please don’t hesitate to contact us at info@chesapeakenatives.org. Our plant list will be made available on our website later this week.
Please note that the entrance to the nursery is located at 9640 Rosaryville Road. Kindly remember that access to the nursery is not available via the Rosaryville State Park entrance on 301.
In addition to our sale at the nursery, we will also be offsite at two other locations:
Date: Saturday, April 27th
Time: 9 AM – 2 PM
Location: The Church of St Clement, 1701 N Quaker Lane Alexandria, Virginia 22302
Date: Saturday, April 27th
Time: 10 AM – 2 PM
Location: ECO City Farms, 4913 Crittenden St, Hyattsville, MD 20781
And don’t forget, our online store is open this week from Sunday 9 AM to Tuesday 9 PM for native plant orders with contactless pickup Thursday-Saturday.
We’re looking forward to welcoming you to one (or more!) of our events next weekend, and we’re excited to share the beauty and benefits of native plants with you. Thank you for your continued support!
