SharkFest at the Natural History Society of Maryland is a sharknado of fun and knowledge. Take your relationship with sharks to the next level. Replace fear with wonder and awe.

Join us for our annual fun and educational day to celebrate some of the most successful creatures in history. Visitors will be able to learn through hands-on activities that cover shark anatomy, evolution, morphology, and ecology of both modern and prehistoric sharks. This is an event for all ages. The kid zone will feature a multitude of shark-themed crafts, games, and a chance to be a real-life paleontologist and dig for shark teeth and bones! Guests will be able to see and feel shark skin, watch the birth of a ray, make a shark tooth necklace (extra fee), and much, much more.

Children under 2 – free. Children 3-12 are $2.  Adult prices vary with discounts available to Blue Star families, Master Naturalists, and Museums for All members. Discounted tickets are available with a special code for teachers and resource parents.
