They all look the same without their leaves, don’t they? Join Sustainability Matters and the State Arboretum of Virginia (Blandy) for an approximately 90 minute guided walk and ID primer by Virginia State Foresters Matt Wolanski and Connor Goolsby and Blandy curator Carrie Whitacre. You’ll never mistake an oak for a walnut again, or a spruce for a fir. Holiday themed potluck and social hour with fellow nature nerds will follow the walk.
