Dr. Reba Carruth of the Spiritual Assembly of the Baha’i’ Faith community in Montgomery County South will facilitate a conversation on the moral and spiritual foundations of civic responsibility, particularly focusing on climate mitigation/resilience and protecting natural environments. Speakers will include:

  • Adam Ortiz, Director, Department of Environmental Protection of Montgomery County (and recently announced as the next US EPA Region 3 Administrator)
  • Jodi Rose, Executive Director, Interfaith Partners for the Chesapeake
  • Ian Hamilton, Climate and Environment Specialist, US Baha’i Office of Public Affairs of the United States
