You are invited to participate in a free public program on civic responsibility and local community engagement for climate resilience, sustainable environment and commonwealth. The free online Zoom public event is hosted by the Baha’i’ Faith Community of Montgomery County-Bethesda, Maryland. In the program, the guest speakers and audience will discuss the following issues and themes; local government climate plans, renewable energy transition programs for households, communities and businesses, essential public water utility company responsibilities for safe clean water, scientific tools/standards/business/industry technologies for climate mitigation and adaptation, and the moral and spiritual foundations of climate change resilience, sustainable environments and commonwealth – at the local, state, regional, national and global levels.
