Join Chesapeake Conservancy for a tour of Fort McHenry, birthplace of “The Star-Spangled Banner!”
Participants will have the opportunity to explore this landmark of history while discovering its lasting legacy, natural resources and current events. The tour will include a lunch stop in downtown Baltimore where attendees can also learn about the communities that surround the Fort.
The tour and the transportation to the site is completely free; guests will be expected to pay for their own lunch at the designated lunch stop. Snacks and water will also be provided. We encourage participants to bring comfortable shoes and weather-appropriate clothing as the tour will go out rain or shine and there will be a good deal of walking around the fort.
