Join scientists at Horn Point Laboratory with the National Wildlife Federation on Thursday, September 22nd, at 2 pm, for an afternoon celebrating the pilot installation of an oyster retrofit. An oyster retrofit is a novel approach to green grey infrastructure and adapt to sea level rise. This approach uses oyster castles, concrete building blocks that create oyster habitat, to add height and habitat to existing breakwaters. We would love to share what we have learned with you!

Location: Horn Point Laboratory Pavilion,

2020 Horns Point Road, Cambridge MD
