This presentation explores the natural history of water and examines how earthlings (human and otherwise) have interacted with this mysterious substance over geological time. We will explore how human activities have impacted the Earth’s natural water cycle on an unprecedented scale and discuss solutions that individuals and communities can implement to mitigate the challenges we face. This presentation will get you thinking about water in a new way.

Presented in partnership with Blue Water Baltimore. John Marra | Ecoliteracy & Restoration Specialist John manages the BWB storm drain art program and leads many ecoliteracy programs and green infrastructure projects. As an Eagle Scout since 1999, Americorps member, and a founding member of the Baltimore Rock Opera Society, John Marra strongly believes in the importance of volunteerism, community involvement and do-it-yourself ethics.
