Dear Foresters & Friends of the Potomac Watershed Partnership,

Yale’s Sustaining Family Forests Initiative is offering the PWP “Tools for Engaging Landowners Effectively,” August 1-2, 2018, at Hood College (room to be determined).

We will discuss engaging landowners for riparian buffer plantings.  Yale will offer data and techniques to help us target our outreach activities to specific types of landowners.  This will allow us to speak more meaningfully and persuasively to landowners and increase the chance that they will engage in riparian buffer plantings.

The workshop is free and open to the public but limited to 30 participants.  The Courtyard Marriot, 8 minutes away, is offering a special $149 rate for July 31 and/or August 1.  Overnight accommodations must be made separately.  See attached flyer for additional information will be available after you RSVP.

RSVP here for the PWP’s TELE Workshop.  Please call me if you have any questions.

For the PWP,
