GSI Maintenance Gaps in the Bay Watershed (and Ideas for How to Fix Them)

In this webinar, we will explore a new white paper developed by the Chesapeake Conservation Landscaping Council, Alliance for the Chesapeake Bay, and Hirschman Water & Environment. Funded through the Chesapeake Bay Trust’s Green Streets, Green Jobs, Green Towns (G3) Grant Program with support from the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, this project gathered insights from practitioners across the region through surveys, focus groups, interviews, and case studies. The resulting resource examines common maintenance challenges and offers practical strategies to improve long-term performance, strengthen workforce capacity, reduce costs, and protect investments in green infrastructure. We’ll share key findings, lessons learned from practitioners in the field, and recommendations for designers, property owners, contractors, municipalities, and nonprofit partners.
