Join us on Tuesday, April 20 at noon for an Earth Day ‘lunch & learn’ with our Waterkeepers to talk about The Power of Plants to Protect Clean Water. All across our region, Waterkeepers have programs to encourage the use of natives plants and trees, water-friendly lawn and garden practices, and stream buffers and living shoreline practices. Staff from Blue Water Baltimore, James River Association and ShoreRivers will talk about what they are doing and answer your questions. We’ll demonstrate how you can take pledges to adopt water-friendly practices in your yard and neighborhood through our Clear Choices Clean Water campaign.
