Demystify vegetable gardening in time for the 2021 season!

About this Event

Did you catch the gardening bug in 2020? But maybe that “victory garden” didn’t turn out quite as planned…or you’re even more ambitious for 2021. Get the secrets of success just in time for spring!

Follow Sustainability Matters’ favorite transplanted English gardener, Paula Brownlee, through a 3-part series on garden basics, techniques, and averting the sudden death of tomato plants.

  1. From the Ground Up (March 9, 7-8:30 pm EST) covers key garden priorities – light, water, location, type of garden, and what to grow. Avoid beginner’s mistakes, and get it right from the ground up!
  2. Down & Dirty (March 16, 7-8:30 pm EDT) delves deeper, with hands-on specifics on soil, spacing and schedules.
  3. Bugs, Blights & Weeds (March 23, 7-8:30 pm EDT) is the problem prevention session. Head off those garden pests before they get started!

Note that this ticket is for the FULL SERIES, all 3 sessions. To buy tickets for individual sessions of Vegetable Gardening for the Perplexed, see our event listings: smatters.eventbrite.com
