Consider expanding your opportunities to include permeable pavers by attending a training course on Permeable Interlocking Concrete Pavers (PICP). Washington DC’s RiverSmart Homes program is partnering with the Concrete Masonry and Hardscapes Association to offer a one-day certification course to any who are interest. The course will be located at DOEE headquarters at 1200 First St NE on Wednesday, February 12th. the first half of the day will be a training course in a classroom on the benefits, installation process, and maintenance or permeable pavers, followed by the exam in the afternoon that earns you a PICP Record of Completion, which is needed to become an approved RiverSmart contractor.
