Join the Million Acre Challenge for an exciting conversation taking place on June 22, 2022 from 3-5:00PM. An interactive, storytelling panel discussion that connects food, culture and farming practices known as “regenerative” with their roots in Indigenous, African, Latinx and other heritages. Four featured, regional BIPOC farmers will raise up the work of the early pioneers of the regenerative movement, highlighting the value of their contributions both on and beyond the farm.

Panelists:

Moderated by Tope Fajingbesi of Dodo Farms with event coordination support from Adrienne Granston of Cusheeba Earth Farm. Both of these women, also from communities of color, are regenerative Chesapeake-region farmers who bring their own expertise to this conversation.
