Registration is now open for the 6th annual Mid-Atlantic Climate Change Education Conference, June 25th from 9am – 4 pm (though doors will open at 8a). The conference will take place in-person, rain or shine at two idyllic coastal locations, courtesy of the Chesapeake Bay Foundation:

This unique dual-location format will allow participants the chance to connect with fellow educators close to home while engaging with the larger regional network working to advance climate change education.

Join us to explore our theme of “Reconnecting to the Climate Community” through:

  • Dynamic in-person sessions of resource-sharing, climate storytelling, and art all meant to advance climate change education and action.

  • Local and regional networking opportunities with peers who care deeply about climate education.

  • Live-streamed keynotes and shared programming between locations to foster regional connections.

  • Climate Art Collaborative Project connecting our regional efforts

  • Resource Tables for meeting up with regional climate education resource providers and learning how their resources can help you level up as a climate educator.

    • (If your organization would like to share resources at a table please fill out this  Form – Spaces are limited and filled on a first-come-first-served basis — Registration is required)

Whether you work in K-12 schools, higher education, non-profits, or community organizations, this conference is designed to support and inspire your climate education efforts.
