Winter Lecture: The Ecology of Chesapeake Blue Crabs

Unusual methods and inventions have developed to get answers about complex migratory life cycles and our understanding of how blue crabs move among habitats and what they do in the Chesapeake Bay. Tuck will explore the blue crab fishery in the Bay and crab production in other countries.

Presenter: Dr. Anson “Tuck” Hines is the Director and Marine Ecologist at the Smithsonian Environmental Research Center (SERC).
