This is a part-time, seasonal position. The hours are Wednesday thru Friday 7am-9am and Saturday 9am-11am (9am-3pm in April, May and part of June), additional hours for back-up coverage as needed, from early of April through end of September. This position offers a salary range of $13.50-$15/hour (dependent upon experience).
Qualifications:
- High School or equivalent (required)
- A working knowledge of native plants, their preferred site conditions and basic gardening skills (required)
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and work in various weather conditions (required)
- Driver’s license (preferred)
- Horticulture experience or education (desirable)
- CBLP (desirable)

Ideal applicants are professional, team players who possess a general, working knowledge of native plants and gardening. Candidates must be punctual, dependable and possess a positive attitude.
General Nursery Duties Include (but are not limited to):
- Providing a high standard of customer service at all times
- Waters nursery plants, client hold section plants, and containers/gardens on property
- Moves and organizes plants
- Helps customers visiting the nursery with plant selections and moving purchases to their car
- Weeds pots, fixes signage, arranges plants
- Helps customers select and pay for plants
- Organizes the nursery area
- Helps cover our retail store, Cultivate, as needed
