Job Announcement at TJSWCD – Agricultural Conservation Program
The Thomas Jefferson Soil and Water Conservation District, located in Charlottesville, Virginia, is recruiting for one position for either an Agricultural Conservation Technician, Agricultural Conservation Specialist, or Senior Agricultural Conservation Specialist, depending on qualifications and experience.

The position involves agriculture conservation work in Albemarle, Fluvanna, Louisa, and Nelson Counties. A strong background in farm economics and pasture management is a plus.
All positions are full-time with excellent benefits, including health insurance and retirement. Salary ranges are listed below.
- Agricultural Conservation Technician: $36,920 to $60,112
- Agricultural Conservation Specialist: $45,474 to $74,231
- Senior Agricultural Conservation Specialist: $48,791 to $79,643
