These are trust-funded (non-federal) positions. The appointments are initially for one year and are renewable annually, depending upon performance and available funding. We are seeking two Biological Technicians to assist with implementation of standardized field-based surveys of soft-sediment benthic invertebrate communities in Chesapeake Bay. In addition to field work, the employees will assist with processing sediment samples in the laboratory for genetic and taxonomic identification of marine and estuarine invertebrates.
