The Chesapeake Bay Maritime Museum is seeking enthusiastic, dynamic applicants to work with children ages 4 to 15 in CBMM’s Chesapeake-focused summer camps. CBMM’s expansive grounds and waterfront location provide unique opportunities for laughs, learning, and lifelong memories.
Ideal candidates will enjoy building and running fun, hands-on learning experiences such as art-making, on-the-water experiences, stories, games and more.
Summer Camp at CBMM runs Monday-Friday for eight weeks with unique Chesapeake themes each session.
All camp employees must be able to pass a Criminal Background Investigation. Certification in CPR/First Aid is provided, as well as comprehensive training in youth leadership skills. The positions are full-time June 20th to August 19th.
Compensation for Lead Instructors: $15.00-18.00. Must be at least 18 years of age. Lead Instructors may also earn internship credit as part of their seasonal camp role, dependent upon university or college requirements. We have 4 openings for Lead Instructors.
Compensation for Instructors: $12.50-15.50. Must be at least 16 years of age. We have 4 openings for Instructors
