The City of Charlottesville, Virginia currently has an employment opportunity for a Water Resources Protection Administrator. The Administrator performs complex professional tasks associated with the management and prioritization of the Water Resources Protection Program (WRPP), including serving a key role in the coordination, development, and delivery of the core program components and associated capital projects. Provides customer service to Stormwater Utility ratepayers and coordinates complaint response, tracking, and communication. Provides support to City stormwater system operations and maintenance, as well as Municipal Separate Storm Sewer System (MS4) and Total Maximum Daily Load (TMDL) compliance efforts and the City’s green infrastructure program. Works closely and in coordination with technical staff, other divisions and other departments to manage, integrate, and/or coordinate the various components of the WRPP. Position reports to the City Engineer.
