The Maryland Department of Natural Resources, Chesapeake and Coastal Service, is seeking a “Coastal and Marine Design and Restoration Specialist” to advance natural infrastructure and recreational boating access projects in the coastal and marine environment by providing support and technical assistance to state and local partners and applying environmental science and restoration concepts to project designs. The position will engage in all stages of project development from site visits to conceptual design and permitting to project implementation. The successful candidate will be able to translate science-based research and technical concepts to professionals and partners within and outside of their own discipline in written and verbal formats.
