Position Descriptions:

The Smithsonian Environmental Research Center (SERC) will soon invite applications for two Principal Investigator Research Ecologists. We are looking for candidates with expertise in: 1) Landscape Ecology, broadly defined to include integration of landscape and/or seascape information from many fields to address topics at multiple spatial, temporal, and ecological scales, and 2) Biogeochemical Ecology, broadly defined to include biogeochemical and hydrologic dynamics across multiple scales. The SERC community seeks to fill these key positions with scientists capable of working well with a diverse community of staff, students, volunteers, and visitors to develop a strong research program.
