Main Purpose Of Job
The main purpose of this position is to work with the existing MD Conservation Careers Guide and other DNR career education materials to create engaging, interactive, and educational outreach items for future career-related events.

The internship runs 12 weeks between June and August. The specific start/end dates, hours, and schedule will be determined in collaboration between the intern and supervisor.

POSITION DUTIES
Research engaging career educational materials used by other conservation career organizations. Coordinate with other units in DNR (ie. HRS) and groups (ie Project Green Classrooms and Education Matrix Team) to collect useful information on needs and improvements. Create creative display items and interactive materials for career-related events

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Applicant must be a current student over the age of 16 and have a current valid work permit for minors (if under 18). A GPA of 2.5 or above is required for academic credit.
