The Environmental Education and Cleanup Coordinator supports the Alice Ferguson Foundation’s Education Program team in delivering hands-on environmental education to youth from pre- kindergarten to college, as well as some adult education. Programs include on-site, off-site, and virtual experiences focused on Meaningful Watershed Educational Experiences (MWEE), covering topics like habitats, watersheds, climate change, and invasive species. The Coordinator will also support other Foundation-led environmental initiatives, such as litter cleanups, invasive species removals, and community events. Offsite work may be scheduled in Southern Maryland, Central Maryland, Northern Virginia, the District of Columbia, and/or other surrounding areas.
