We are looking for enthusiastic individuals who care about the environment and are eager to learn and grow as an environmental educator. The Environmental Literacy Assistant will assist Environmental Literacy and Outdoor Education staff in the needs of the 6th grade outdoor education programs. Work involves teaching lessons during field experiences which may include planting trees on stormwater restoration sites, taking water quality data in local streams and rivers or growing and planting bay grasses.  This also includes preparation of materials, participating in staff development activities and helping with animal care. This is a temporary, 18 month position from February 2023-August 2024.
