The University of Maryland Center for Environmental Science at the Horn Point Laboratory is seeking a Facilities Supervisor who will be responsible for leading a team of maintenance personnel in the performance of various duties. Duties include general maintenance and repair, support of new and ongoing research projects, renovation, new construction, compliance reporting, utility tracking and analysis and efficiency improvements. The successful candidate will be expected to obtain a water operators license within two years in order to maintain and support our campus water system. This is a working supervisory position. The candidate should have at least 10 years of progressively responsible experience and at least three years in a lead or supervisory capacity.
